Ayla, Global President- ACCA and Founder & CEO of Planetive Middle East and Pakistan, a leading energy transition strategist, decarbonisation investor, and emerging market project developer. Her extensive 20+ year career in investment and financial advisory in multiple sectors, notably including strategic policy development and project structuring for large-scale projects within the minerals and indigenous resources exploration and development.

Ayla has over 20 years of investment and financial advisory experience across sectors, including large infrastructure, energy, and digital innovation. Ayla is also experienced in policy development and project structuring for large scale projects in multiple sectors including Minerals and other indigenous resources exploration and development.

Beyond her sectoral expertise, Ayla brings a wealth of high-level governance experience gained through 15+ years of board service across diverse industries, including banking, energy, insurance, pharmaceuticals, and engineering. As the Global President of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a historic first for a South Asian, she demonstrates her global leadership and influence.

Further, her roles as a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on Energy Transition, the Mobilizing Investment for Clean Energy in Emerging Economies Global Taskforce, and her position as MENA Sustainability Leader underscore her commitment to sustainable development. A Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum and an Eisenhower Global Fellow, Ayla's academic credentials, including an MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences, an LLB from the University of London, and advanced studies at Harvard Kennedy School, the University of Oxford, the National Technological University of Singapore, and The Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment at Princeton University, provide a solid foundation for her impactful contributions.
