Felicien Muvunyi

Founder & Managing Partner - Garnet Partners Ltd

Felicien Muvunyi is the founder and Managing Partner of Garnet Partners. He has 21 years of professional experience in audit and finance. He is one of the founding members of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR) where he served for 4 years on the Governing Council. Felicien was the Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee (PSC) of the Institute from July 2019 to December 2024.

He previously served as the Country Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Rwanda. At EY, he headed and participated in various audit and consulting assignments in Rwanda, Nigeria, Senegal, the Republic of South Africa and other African countries.

Felicien served as a board member on the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) for a period of two years from January 2022 to December 2023. He currently chairs the audit committee of Access Bank Rwanda and is an independent non-executive director of Old Mutual Insurance Rwanda.
