John K. Bugunya

Chief Executive Officer

John Bugunya is an accomplished finance professional with over 20 years of experience in financial management, corporate governance, and strategic leadership. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an active member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR), John has a strong track record in enhancing financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving business transformation. 

John has held key leadership roles in multiple industries such as banking, insurance and manufacturing at reputable institutions in both Africa and Europe and thereby contributing to financial sustainability, compliance, and capacity building. His expertise spans financial strategy, risk management, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.



He is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA - UK) with a master’s degree from the University of London, a master’s degree from Oxford Brookes University, and a bachelor’s in accounting from Makerere University.
