Mr Robert Busuulwa
Partner - Forvis Mazars, Uganda
Robert has approximately 30 years of experience in public practice and is a seasoned Chartered Accountant, qualifying with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1999. He earned a law degree from the University of West London in 1994. He trained with Smith & Williamson Group, later working as a financial analyst at Mellon Financial Corporation and Cantor Fitzgerald before returning to Uganda in 2006 to become a partner at a Big 5 firm.
He is the Managing Partner at Forvis Mazars, an international audit and advisory firm operating in over 100 countries, including 26 in Africa. A member of ICPAU and ICPAR, he has delivered over 100 lectures on auditing, taxation, and financial crimes. He has served on various boards, including Stanbic Holdings Uganda. Representing ICPAU on the IFAC AML Community of Practice, he also mentors professionals and young people in critical thinking and career development.
