Theodora Ekua Aryee

Chairman of the National Information Security Advisory Group (NISAG)

Dr. Theodora Ekua Aryee is a Lecturer at Ashesi University, Ghana. She is an academic, with some consulting experience with some firms in Ghana, on human capital development and training. She holds a BSc, MPhil and PhD all in Accounting. She is a member of the ACCA and ICA Ghana. Her interest in the Sustainability, Governance, Risk and Ethics area in accounting has inspired her research over the years. Her personal belief is that research must drive societal transformation. She is keen on becoming a key part of the research community that contributes to the increase in knowledge on accountability issues, especially regarding the sustainable development goals in developing economies.

Her career goal is to help bridge the gap between academia and industry, particularly in translating research findings into real life practice. Theodora is personable, hardworking, eager to learn, and believes that “anything worth doing is worth doing well.
