Valerie Christine Muyambo

Chief Finance Officer - CABS ZImbabwe

With over 20 years’ professional experience, Val started out with an audit firm and has since enhanced her experience by working in the media, property development, medical aid and banking sectors. Her key strengths lie in interpersonal skills, strategic leadership, problem-solving and her eagerness to constantly take on new challenges.

In addition to her professional qualification, she also chairs the Accounting Standards Committee of the Zimbabwe Accounting Practices Board, sits on the Public Accountants and Auditors Board and is a member of the Accounting Procedures Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe. These memberships speak to her passion to enhance financial reporting for all accounting professionals in Zimbabwe.

Going forward, Val aims to continue to grow professionally, create value and make a positive difference as a leader. She believes in putting her all into what she does and that her positive energy is infectious in every setting she finds herself.
