Zainab Salome Msimbe

Senior Partner at PwC Tanzania

As Country Senior Partner at PwC Tanzania, Zainab leads a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering quality and driving impact. With over 19 years at PwC, including a two-year secondment in Uganda, she brings deep expertise in audit, financial due-diligence, accounting, and performance management across sectors as banking, insurance, manufacturing and tourism.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA in Finance from the University of Dar es Salaam, a registered member of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors and Fellow Certified Public Accountant in Public Practice. Prior to her current role, she served as Country Operations Partner, managed PwC’s Arusha office, and led the firm’s learning and methodology practice.

Zainab co-founded the Tanzania Association of Certified Women Accountants, served on the Governing Council of the Institute of Tax Administration, and currently serve on the NBAA Board. She is passionate about capacity building and leads trainings on financial reporting and performance management.
